The IKMO (International Knowledge hours Millennium Olympiads) – Science – STATE LEVEL is conducted by THE KNOWLEDGE HOURS INTERNATIONAL an Educational Research & Development Organisation (ERDO) endeavors to develop interest in Science and to get acquitted with subject.
The examination is conducted in three levels: State, National & International.
The State Level is the first level and it is mandatory to participate for National & International levels.
It is open to the students of classes 1 to 10. There are many advantages to participate in KNOWLEDGE HOURS IKMO Olympiad. While participating in this exam the students can judge themselves at state level position. In this level the participant will know the state ranking, the grade and percentage obtained.
Science is about a whole lot more than that and to sum it up we believe that science is a way of helping the brain grow in finding new knowledge and helps us defeat our curiosity of how the world develops and works today. Science is important because it has helped form the world that we live in today.
In other words, science is one of the most important channels of knowledge. It has a specific role, as well as a variety of functions for the benefit of our society: creating new knowledge, improving education, and increasing the quality of our lives. Science must respond to societal needs and global challenges.
The syllabus set here is a combination of CBSE, ICSE & SSC. Our expertise has designed syllabus according to new pattern set by Government. The aim is to get knowledge of all streams and to make their foundation strong.
Study material will be given online in PDF format. There will be around 100 questions in MCQ type format with answer keys.
(Each question carries 1 mark)
Each class has separate question paper. In each class category 20% questions will be based on General Knowledge.
The medium of the exam is English.
For individual registrations the participants will have to register through online procedure only. Examination shall be online and the students have to appear from their residence itself.
While registering online participant will get regular emails, phone calls from Head Office. The exam will be conducted smoothly. Any queries can be solved on given helpline numbers.
Students who register through their respective schools have to give exam in their respective schools only. It is a school management decision to conduct examination offline or online. For participation student has to contact external examination teacher coordinator.
